The Group Exercise Director at GymNation is responsible for shaping and leading one of the region’s most dynamic group fitness offerings. This role focuses on developing high-quality class experiences, managing instructor teams, and ensuring consistency, energy, and innovation across all locations.
From programming and performance standards to member engagement and community building, the position plays a key role in delivering a world-class group exercise experience that keeps members motivated, challenged, and coming back.
Lauren Downey is the Group Exercise Director at GymNation and an experienced Les Mills educator in the Middle East and Africa region with a role as a Les Mills Trainer and Presenter across RPM, BODYPUMP and SPRINT. With GymNation, she has been central to building one of the most ambitious group fitness offerings of any budget gym operator globally, bringing Les Mills' world-class programmes to members across the UAE, KSA and Bahrain alongside GymNation’s Signature product offering. Lauren is also an adidas sponsored athlete, reflecting her standing within the global fitness industry.
